The new theme for the next two months is going to be a challenge for some of you. The idea is to show a horrifying werewolf without the use of a snarl or roar. The idea is to rely more on light/shadow, color scheme, and situation rather than facial expression.

The due date is April 30th at midnight!

We didn't get any entries for our last two themes, so we're really hoping some of you can come up with a great submission for us!

EDIT:

the winner of this theme challenge gets some really awesome prizes!

Both :iconfreakaru: and :iconviergacht: are willing to do one digital portrait for this theme's winner!

DUE DATE REMINDER:

Just to let you know, the due date for this challenge is coming up on Saturday at midnight! So hurry up if you've still got a piece you're working on. :)

Some things to remember:

Please put something in the description of your deviation to let us know it's for the #Werewolf-Horror challenge, otherwise we won't know to put it in the right folder or post it for voting.

Also, the work must be a new piece and not an old deviation, and please follow the general rules of the group.

Sometime next week the pieces will be put up for a vote and the new theme for May/June will be revealed!

Thanks to everyone who has already submitted an entry!

Oh yeah, I need to ask:
Is a literature submission allowed for this theme? Since 'colour scheme' and some of the other criteria sound geared towards drawn art.

Yes, you put it in the right place, but you might want to put something in the artist's comments about it being for our group.

I'd enter. Although I'd lose epically. :XD:

Are we limited in terms of gore or allowed to use it? I'm not sure if the competition would be more difficult if we were only allowed minimal blood and guts as well as no snarls :D.
